The **Tharaka University Christian Union (T.U.C.U)** adheres strictly to its foundational principles. We are a body of Christian students in Tharaka University bound together by faith in God the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, seeking to live the Holy Word of God (The Bible). We are exclusively non-denominational, non-political, non-profit, and non-partisan.

We are dedicated to establishing a supportive community where students can grow spiritually and build lasting friendships while seeking to fulfill our core objectives. Our commitment is to authentic faith lived out on campus.

Our Objectives & Core Values

Constitutional Objectives (Article 3.3):

  • To nurture the spiritual life of its members through the study of the Bible, prayer, and Christian fellowship.
  • To encourage its members to present Jesus Christ to others with a view of leading them to a personal commitment to Him.
  • To sensitize and mobilize its members into mission work in every area of life to which God calls them.
  • To stir, develop and enhance the leadership skills and potential so fits members through training.

What We Believe

We believe in the divine inspiration and entire trustworthiness of the Holy Scriptures as originally given, and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. This includes the sovereignty of God in creation, the redemption solely through Jesus Christ, and the expectation of His personal return. (See Article 4 of our Constitution for all 11 points).
